Miromico FMLR-72-STM LoRaWAN® Module.

FMLR-72-STM is a LoRa® and LoRaWAN® IoT module built on Semtech’s SX1272 chipset. It provides wireless connectivity to devices and sensors operating in the sub-GHz spectrum; covering frequencies from 860 MHz to 1020 MHz and supporting all major sub-GHz ISM bands globally. Offering a 157dB link budget; it supports a constant RF output of +20dBm and exhibits high sensitivity down to -137dBm. In addition to LoRa modulation; the module supports (G)FSK; (G)MSK; and OOK modulation for legacy use cases.

The modules are ideal for small battery applications thanks to their low power consumption. It has an integrated STM32L0 MCU featuring a low-power 32-bit ARM Cortex®-M0+ microcontroller with 192 kB flash and 20 kB RAM. However; for firmware over-the-air updates (FUOTA); we recommend using the FMLR-61-STM with an STM32L4 MCU; as FUOTA typically requires higher RAM capabilities.
