Thanks to disc brake compatibility and; consequently; no need for a rim braking surface; the NSW rim has been modified for improved stability and aerodynamics – namely Zipp AeroBalance?. The dimpled ABLC? SawTooth? design effectively reduces high yaw drag and; despite the rim’s 45mm depth; offers outstanding control in the strongest sidewinds. Zipp?s ImPress? technology means the graphics are printed directly on to the wheel; ensuring no negative effect on the dimples. In addition; graphics are sleek and will complement any bike setup. Optimised for wider 28mm tyres; and ready for a tubeless; lower pressure setup; comfort is significantly improved and rolling resistance reduced; while there’s less risk of punctures. The internal ridges lock the tyres bead securely in place. The rim is laced to a top end Cognition Disc hub by 24 Sapim® CX-Ray® J-bend spokes; improving strength and rigidity.
