MIPS Air Node is the lightest and most ventilated Mips system to date; and is integrated into the helmet padding creating a low friction layer. This technology offers advanced protection in the event of an angled impact; dispersing forces and reducing the risk of a minor or major brain injury. Dual-density EPS foam further absorbs any impact; while a polycarbonate shell wrap outer creates a striking finish and enhances durability. More grippy and responsive than previously; this system is easier to use mid-ride. The magnetic clasp of the previous generation has been replaced with a traditional buckle under the chin; securing the straps; which are now narrower; at just 10mm; to reduce the chances of any flapping noise.
