It offers excellent breathability; and is fast-drying and hydrophobic – so it won’t hold moisture like natural down insulation. A DWR-coated windproof front keeps the chest warm; while the lighter weight stretch fabric on the back allows body heat to escape. The improved fit features longer sleeves and a slightly wider waist; meaning those looking for a more relaxed fit are advised to size up. Three pockets to the rear allow plenty of room for fuel and valuables; and these can be easily accessed with the double-ended Vislon zip; which also makes for easy temperature regulation.
