This casing features AX-Alpha cords that are woven throughout to increase puncture protection without adding weight. A ProTite Shield Plus nylon belt is added to further increase resistance against cuts and pinch flats and markedly enhances the robustness of this tyre. The ZSG (Zero Slip Grip) rubber compound is grippy and fast but durable and is realised with a slick centre section for high levels of rolling efficiency. Aggressive side lugs complement this smooth centre section by improving corning traction; even when leaning the bike at speed.
