Giro Eclipse Spherical Road Helmet An amalgamation of speed; safety and comfort; the Eclipse Spherical Road Helmet is situated at the high-performance end of Giro’s helmet range. First and foremost; protection is provided by Spherical Technology in conjunction with MIPS (Multi-directional Impact Protection System). This construction allows the helmet to rotate around the head in the event of an oblique blow; helping dissipate the forces and preventing them from being transmitted to the head and neck. The aerodynamically optimised design reduces drag through the air at higher speeds and has been designed to work whatever the angle of the wind whilst the 14 vents channel air through the helmet for increased cooling when working hard. Anti-microbial padding moves any moisture away from the skin and the Roc Loc Trail Air cradle system can be easily adjusted to fit using the rear dial mechanism.
