Cannondale Topstone 1 Gravel Bike 2023 Cannondale’s Topstone 1 is built for adventure. This extremely capable gravel bike combines a strong SmartForm C2 alloy frame with a carbon fork and Shimano gravel-specific components to deliver comfort and good traction over all terrains while keeping weight to a minimum. OutFront steering geometry with a longer fork and slacker head angle creates an agile ride feel with plenty of stability. The frame and fork incorporate plenty of mounts for bottles; mudguards and luggage; and the WTB wheels have been fitted with wide 35mm Vittoria tyres to soak up the bumps. There’s room to go even wider – 45mm – if preferred. When tackling steeper; trickier terrain; you may appreciate the ability to swap out the seatpost for a dropper post. GRX 800 and 600 are Shimano’s highest-level groupsets that are aimed specifically toward gravel riding. Shadow technology in the rear mech provides chain stability and the cassette and chainring combination give a wide gear range to help manage both the ups and downs.
