Brompton P Line Utility Low Bar Folding Bike with lights The Brompton P Line Urban Folding Bike features a titanium rear frame and forks that are 700 grammes lighter than their all-steel equivalent; while maintaining the same strength. Its redesigned suspension block enhances efficiency and responsiveness; converting pedal power into improved control and handling performance. The naturally shock-absorbing properties of titanium help smooth out uneven roads; providing a noticeable difference in ride comfort. This folidng bike is designed for easy movement. The new dual-locking seat post system offers two positions: fully down for storage and halfway up for rolling. The folded bike can be manoeuvred easily through tight spaces; aided by the Superlight Saddle nose handle; while larger and lighter rolling wheels glide smoothly over rough ground. The in-house designed superlight compact gearing system is finely tuned for city riding. The 4-speed system; featuring a new 60-gram derailleur; provides a gear ratio similar to the 3-speed system but with 60% more range than the 2-speed. This new design fits seamlessly within the bike’s compact fold. The P Line features Brompton’s lightest; most robust wheelset; equipped with a new rear hub designed specifically for the compact 4-speed gear set. Tested rigorously with mud; water; and sand; this wheelset is built to withstand the demands of urban riding. It includes hex key axles and a new hanger mount for easy removal during roadside repairs or maintenance.
