Shimano RT-CL900 Ice Tech FREEZA Disc Brake Rotor Shimano’s top option; the RT-CL900 Ice Tech FREEZA Disc Brake Rotor combines a proprietary three-layer sandwich design with an exposed radiator fin covered in heat dissipation paint for excellent temperature regulation and improved braking. A layer of aluminium is sandwiched between two layers of stainless steel; leading to reduced heat deformation and less pad contact. The alloy carrier is also now more robust and the arm shape has been redesigned to further prevent any warping or expansion of the rotor under hard or prolonged braking; leading to more consistent performance and quieter operation.
